Hello, my name is Cheech. I came in with four other small dogs. Our owner could no longer keep us, so here I am...looking for a new home. You probably noticed that I am a little unique in the fact that I am almost completely hairless (I do have a little stubble and some fine hair in places).  A visit to the doc confirmed that I am a hairless Chihuahua. Other than being adorable, being hairless has a few other considerations to think about before applying to adopt me: 1. I can't be in the sun without sunscreen-I will burn extrememly easily.
       2. I need bathed regularly with a very mild cleanser to keep my skin clean and healthy- but not too often, or my skin could possibly crack creating a heaven for infection. 
        3. I become cold easily and should wear nice soft clothing that won't cause skin irritation. Clothing is also good protection from the nails of other dogs and cats- my skin can be snagged just by playing with others. 
I know that sounds like a lot, but I am so woth it. You won't meet a sweeter, or cuter (if I do say so myself) puppy than me. I seem to get along really well with the smaller dogs her, but I haven't met anyone too big yet, so we aren't sure. I also don't mind the cats, so a dog friendly cat is okay. I love everyone who takes care of me here- I am very people friendly, but being a pretty tiny guy, no small children, please. I have been vaccinated, combo tested (all negative), and my preventives are current. I'm not quite old enough to be neutered yet. Whew! After all of thet!
