Hi, my name is Mellie. I bet the first thing you noticed is my striking appearance! My blue eye is due to genes and causes no problem at all.  I was surrendered to the Olive Branch because my owner could no longer take care of me. I'm a little on the smaller side for my breed, but I have been filling out since I have been here. I am a very sweet well behaved girl. I sit on command and wait nicely for my bowl to be filled. Sometimes I do get a little excited when I see my food, but a little reminder and I'm back in position. I have a little bit of a gastric upset- that sometimes happens when being reintroduced to a good feeding schedule. Thanks to medication and probiotics, I'm getting better every day. Other than the slight tummy issues, I'm good as new. I am a very active girl and would love a home where I can go on adventures. I would make an excellent hiking buddy.
